Within these night markets, you can often find what we call “Taiwan Xiao Chi”, which if literally translated, means “Taiwan Little Eats”, meaning that they’re not full-proportion meals, but rather “snacks”. Among these night markets, there’s usually a plethora of food stalls lined up against each other, hence that’s why people are often trying to rough their way to the adjacent one for more tasteful morsels of food.
